It's Final

Today I went to Sheffield Elementary to withdrawl Raymond from school. It was easier than I had expected. He's already been home for a week. His teacher, Michelle, messaged me on MySpace last night asking if I had already withdrawn him since she had to do assessments on each of her kids today and didn't want to do one on Raymond since he won't be back.

I go in and expect a thorough questioning and thought I would have to at the very least fill out some paperwork. Nope! I told the lady we were moving to another county and that I would be homeschooling in the new county. She said "Okay, I'll go make copies of his shot record and physical" and then off she went. A few minutes later, she came back with copies and said that I would need to take these to the St. John's County Schoolboard to enroll him as a homeschooler. That sounds easy enough.

After I finished in the office, I went back to his portable to get his stuff. I ended up talking with his teacher for a few minutes about her family, my family, and random stuff. I got his folders, notebook, extra clothing, poncho, and soccer ball.

Donald left for Ft. Lauderdale this AM and won't be home until Fri morning. ;( BLAH!
